Some pics of a German unit who passed by in mai '40, just entered Belgium territory..
The Gen.Kdos. XI. A.K. (Generalkommandos XI Armeekorps).
I found the home in my neighbourhood, they where here from 20 till 24 mai 1940! :D The pics I found on a German auction site, some of them I bought and brought them back where they belong.
Also I have a map with the route that they followed. They went further into France, direction Bretagne to La Baule, Carnac, Tours,... On the last data they are in Belfort, near the German border, on 9 march 1941.. Further information is missing.

The smoking man in the middle is Ia Karl-Gustav von Sauberzweig, the later commander of the 13 SS Handzar Division.

Here those guys are in Signy-le-Petit at the Château le Ségur where they stayed into the castle from 10 till 18 june 1940, then got further to Chaudion (France).
