those standards are very rare so a repro is the next best thing. Looks great by the way

My wife's uncle was killed in Germany during WWII. This flag was mailed back to his mother during the war.

See the following photos...I would like to know a little history behind this flag.

If not mistaken that is a Dienst flag and I think were flown over administration buildings or offices. The stamping on it indicates it is a Kriegsmarine Dienst flag the "M" under the eagle denotes it is a KM item

is this a top piece of a SA standard? if it was real how much would it be worth? i couldn't find any markings. i bought it at a flea market for $100 :D

yes its an early type pole top looks ok and orig to me
