VMGlasgow :welcome:

The pictures are too "far way" for any detailed information....but a quick reply is

#1. German WW2 M98 Mauser "Service" bayonet w/sheath. (Should be matching #s to be "top shelf", otherwise still fairly common.)..... (German issue: $100. +/- non-match,.... $150./200. +/- for matching #s..... Postwar reworks $30./90.00)

#2. German Police "Bayonet" (NOT meant for a rifle...just the terminology...) with sheath. Most have #s or unit markings....these also should match for "top shelf".... ($300./500. +/- price range)

#3. Luftwaffe 1st Model Dagger. Aluminum fittings (Post 1937 NCO Flyer's Dagger...), w/sheath & hanger. ($650./1200.+/-)

#4. Army Officers Dagger w/sheath. ($300./500.00 +/-)

#5. Naval Officers Dagger w/sheath. ($650./1200. +/-)

Values VERY dependant on CONDITION....especially of the blades....#3,4, & 5 are missing hangers, none have knots, the "bayonets" are also missing thier "frogs" (belt hangers) which also keep values to the "lower" side of the scale.... ALL of these
are still fairly common...(that doesn't mean of low value except the service bayonet)... Values are estimated retail values IMHO.

You'd need much better and detailed photos for any real information... all appear original, but still would need close ups for 100% confirmation.

Please note that I have adjusted the brightness/contrast to make the etching/stamp stand out more so the colours are not a true reflection.

New photos only "hurt"....most of the blades, etc. are NOT in very good condition ....you also show a Luftw. 2nd Model Offz. dagger which wasn't in the original lot (very bad blade!).... The two Lufts. are low end of the scale, the Police blade also looks "dark" but may be the picture....(if it is...would also HURT big time!).... and the Navy blade appears to have "file marks"...all which are not good news. ....Can't tell if the service bayonet is matching....but thats of LOW importance really...

Are you "buying these" or did you "inherit them"?..... if "yours", not a bad collection, you take what you can get,.... if being offered to you....most are "low end of the scale".... I'd pass unless this was an exceptionally good deal! All are still common in the collecting world and better examples are out there....(depends on the prices!)

All the markings shown are simply the makers markings....nearly all Navy daggers have engraved blades so that's not a big deal. All appear original but condition is NOT THAT GOOD on most of these....!
