The type of bird which is featured possibly a stork/ water-based environment type of species makes me initially consider Asian/Pacific emblem. And possibly of a New-Zealand/Australian unit.

The quality of the colour and patch indicates, pretty clearly, it's very recent and/or a reproduction.

Can't say for sure, but unlikely to be of a US division- they're not the fashion-type for 'loud' and bright colours.

My guess would be a yacht or sailing club patch.

Didier, I'm stumped as well, and I used to collect U.S. patches. The construction looks to be U.S. made. I took the liberty of posting it over at the usmilitariaforum.com and drew a blank there too. If those guys can't i.d. it, then it's not military related.
