WWI Prussian Uniform? Alten Grabow?

#1

Post by ahoodlumof85 » 01 Apr 2014, 04:23

I just found this photo hiding underneath another framed photo and wanted some help with identification. What I have gathered so far is that it is Prussian and from WWI. Can anyone give me more information? There seems to be a metal halo surrounding the bottom button of the hat as well as some other finery that sets it apart from the other uniforms I see on the Internet. I am adding a picture of the back of the photo as I am not familiar with the significance of the terms. I appreciate all of your help!

THanks! I did some researching and I agree. Hopefully there are records left for Alten Grabow that will yield some information...
