Hello, these may either be Russian, or German. My bet is on the Germans. Thank you in advance for your opinion.
According to the hand written descriptions on the back of the vintage prints (in Polish) the photographs show the interiors of the "Temple of Diana" in Arkadia (Russian partition of Poland). The temple adorns a romantic, landscape park near Łowicz (Lovitch), which was in the path of the advancing German 9th Army in Feb., 1915. You may locate it on G.Maps by searching for "Park Arkadia, Muzeum w Nieborowie i Arkadii, 70, Polska".
I'm including scans of two general views of the interiors and two closeups:

Re: German 9th Army backpacks in temporary quarters?
I am not sure this is German. The rifles look like M1888/90 Mannlichers. The close-up of the pack with shovel almost looks like an Italian M1907 zaino. However the Italian pack only has equipment straps on the top flap; none of the sides.
Certainly older equipment in use in WW1.
