First of all thanks for your opinion.
Your opinion is a Little shock for me 8O
All the four armbands came from the dealer Helmut Weitze, Hamburg.
I think he's well-known and normally would sell no fakes...I hope :D

And by the way...if I compare e.g. the Political Leaders Armband...I see big differences between
my Armband and the cheap produced Armband on your mentioned Website.

I will disagree with Mark in this case.... all 4 armbands appear to be originals. The Hitler Youth is a differant quality bevo than the normal but looks original (just a slight question mark IMO).... the NSDAP Einsatz is typical (good)..... the SA Sports/Wehrmannschaft is good.... and the NSDAP Political Leader is definately real.... all are extremely clean examples... only the NSDAP Political Leader is considered scarce/rare...(others are common).

Weitz is certianly a big name in the collecting world.... however, NO ONE is 100% perfect.... never buy blindly from ANY dealer no matter who or what thier reputation....

Maybe, I have never seen a HJ with the pillow bevo weave(white base ) before, and The border seems really weird.

If anyone produces an TR original pic of this, I will send a $20.00.I still say a fako.

First at all...thanks for your opinions.
One more question regarding dealers.
What do think of Ulric of England?
Is he selling genuine stuff....because I'm thinking of buying one of his flags.

thanks again for your opinion

Ulric of England is "top shelf" in the dealer/"expert" world.... which doesn't mean he's infallible, but you can be 99% assured it is what it is....it also will usually be "alot" more expensive than it should be..... (Big names...means "big money"!)

I don't have one now, but I've owned other HJ Armband s with "Bevo" directly sewn "swas. centers".....(not that they can't be reproduced) but we're talking about a $75./100. armband tops..... so I still think it's PROBABLY o.k.

John G.
Thanks for your answer.
By the way...I paid 140 Euros for the HJ armband...which is about $ 190.

That's 2 or 3 times over priced.... that alot to pay for a very common armband.... I'd be alittle "slower on the trigger" if I were you..... unless money is no object.

Yeah...maybe you're right.
But don't forget in germany it's a little bit more difficult to get stuff like that because after the war most of the things went to the states or to england...so it's easier and of course cheaper for you to get those things.

My concern on the HJ is the weird red line, thread? just inside the outer edge white bevo, I have a couple of these, also the NSDAP ones, and all have the whitye bevo as a solid, unsewn border, espec/ a red line?? LIke the merrow edge USA SSI's compared to uncut edge SSI's, get my concern
