Proving it's actually from the "Graf Spee" would require evident and provenance....(which remains unseen...unknown)... but "ASSUMING" it's real.... it certianly would be rare (unique possibly)..... and valueable (how much would depend on the minute details.

If it's simply a "generic vintage life ring" with all painted details...but no "Naval" markings, photographic evidence, indirect provenance... value would be subjective (easily faked, aged, etc.) and "not too high"....

If the ring itself is "KM/German" marked, clear photographic evidence exists, or real provenace established...then a whole differant ballgame... value should be quite high in this case (but how high is anyones guess...)

Belongs in a Museum (Argentine Naval (or appropriate), Bundesmarine or Royal Navy) ... (or my collection) but out of my price-range!)

As a curious onlooker, it's hard to follow the context of this thread when the initial post and subsequent posts by the original poster say merely "Hello". :?
Cheers,

Agreed, he sent me a PM saying he has posted pics of the relic, as well as others in actual WW2 use, but I have not seen any :? :?

I was going to edit both post, but I can´t. Here have some pictures of the life preserver, it is 100% original, I think unique.

Agree with your #5 rant that item shown is a fantasy, I uploaded it from BING search.

The pic we are waiting for are actual life preserver in use on Graf Spee.Has to be a couple somewhere, showing the bridge, etc
