hello, new to the group and not sure yet how to post an image so here is a description of an object I would like to now more about.

it is a round 3 1/4" metal box with a hinged lid. on the lid it says Koblenz am Rhein 1919. in the center of the lid it has a large A with what looks like a red wreath around it. it also has some flowers over the top of the A .
it looks to me like it could be a snuff box or powder container?

Any help with more info on this would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Many items related to KOBLENZ were souvenirs of the American Occupation Zone on the Rhein based at Koblenz 1919/21 (?).... probably the "A" is for the 3rd Army which was the Army of Occupation. Picture would help...
