This was in a box of war souvenirs someone gave me back in the early 70's. Don't think it's military and I hope you will forgive me for posting this here. I was just hoping someone could shed some light on what this could be.

A tourist type thing, these are still common in Germany. Like a charm braclet, you buy the little *tabs* of places you have visited, etc then buy the links to attach, like we USA tourist buy felt pennants or decals, Europeans buy these, asa well as ha pins, etc

A typical "period" (2/46) souvenir braclet, this one appears to be "sold" as a complete unit rather than "assembled" as Mark said, but he's correct in his general description. Interesting that it still has it's price tag. Little collector value except as a vintage "curio"....

Got it...so 2/46 refers to a date.. lots of military "tourists" back then. Had this for years without much of a clue.
