This might seem very silly, I dont know much about the k 98 bayonet but I have done a bit of work with stag horn before. The grip inserts look like they were pretty recently worked to me, it might just be the lighting or I might not know what I'm talking about, any comments?

Greetings Maurice, but I think that's the effect of the flash, anyways the bayonet is in great condition and so is the grip. If you want to see a specific part of it so you can see it clearly, zoomed in, etc. just let me know.

This is an E. Pack & Sohn made short dress bayonet with a genuine bone handle. These were made from tortured Hebrews during WW2. Some say that this type stuff never happened. Who knows?

Colonel666....
This sort of nonsense is not allowed in this section... it"s Stag horn, NOT Bone!.... and any more nonsense of this type will not be tolerated.... as far as I'm concerned,..... "strike two".....

There are appropriate sections for such discussions....NOT in the Militaria & Collecting section.

If Marcus wishes to take further action will be his decision....

This is the most most beautiful dress bayonet I have ever seen. The stag is similar. No real difference.
