Just wonder if there are some Polish edged weapon collectors around here.
If you have any Polish sword, dagger, bayonet ... show it to us!
I'll start with my small collection:

01 - Wz. 21-22 cavalry officer sword by G. Borowski - Warszawa

Walter,

Great thread… and a very impressive collection!

Current market values for authentic Polish pre-1939 swords are just insane. As you probably know, these command higher prices than most 20th century military swords from other nations.

Thanks for posting these pics. Most interesting. I hope to see more participation from other collectors here.

Best regards,
Antoni

I have one of these that is stamped on the rib (1739) and on the blade, (536). It has been in my family for generations. The brass has browned but the sabre is in excellent shape otherwise. Where would I find a value, for insurance reasons?

Here's the saber that's been in my family for generations. It's a cavalry saber by A.Mann Warszawa, it's stamped 1739 on the spine, and 493 on the blade
