Hi, thank you so much for your reply. If I were to use these pictures in my dissertation, how should I quote them? How did you know these pictures were taken during the Russian Civil War in Vladivostok?

Best regards,
Yoke Wong

You can use these pictures freely in your dissertation, just mention "Private collection of A. Shakhman". I can send you files in necessary resolution if needed. If you wish we can discuss the dissertation materials with you, so I'll see what else can I provide.

In the "Nikolayevsk Incident"(尼港事件) of 1920, several Chinese soldier servered in Yakov Triapitsyn's partisans force. It was said that Chinese gunboat "Chiang Hung" lent 3 Gatlin guns to these partisans to attack Japanese Forces in Nikolayevsk city.

Hello-

Does anyone have any more pictures of Soviet-Korean fighters from around this time period, particularly, related to the "Free City Incident" and the Nikolaevsk Massacre? Photos and any intriguing links related to Soviet-Korean fighters would be of great interest to me.

Many thanks,
