Can anyone expand on this--or refer me to where I can find a discussion on Wei Peifu's support of Chen Jionming(Sure I misspelled that--working from text (Ch'en Chiung-ming) during 1925. My specific source is a English translation of a Russian advisers notes that "three cuisers and six small vessels of the enemy Shanghai fleet." arrive Shantou March 21st 1925. There is a further citation that two cruisers stayed in south China waters later in the year. Possible British?Japanese or American ships may also have been present.

Names of ships, dates of arrival /departure/ what or whom is being carried?

Conversly I have the Guomindang using the Zhongshan on Febrauary 28th and March 21st from Guangzhou to Shantou --may have been lifts to Haifeng --either supplies or men Any fragment is a gold mine---Many thanks
