2nd Provisional or 2nd Reserve Division

Looking at English language accounts of the Salween offensives I can see no mention of the 2nd Provisional Division, but can see the 2nd Reserve Division is mentioned as part of the 54th Army, XX Army Group. Is the 2nd Provisional the same unit as the 2nd reserve?

Sorry, the 2nd was with XI Group Army, 6th Army....although it appears to have been detached to the 54th according to HyperWar. I also assume the regiments of the division would be the 4th, 6th and 6th but accounts suggest it was composed of 1st, 2nd and 3rd, which surely are those of the 1st division?

第54軍 (the 54th Army) 預備第2師 (the 2nd Reserve Division)

The 2nd Provisional Division in Chinese is 暂编第2师. You still remember 93th Army. It consist of the 2nd Provisional Division which was formed on Mar 1942 and disbanded on Apr 1945.
