I have found those pictures from this website showing some German armored vehicles and light guns once used by Chinese army during the 8-year anti-Japanese war!

However,most of them didn't survive.Some were destroyed in the war,some were lost in the Yangzi River during the retreat in 1938.

Nice photos :) I know that some French vehicles were also used like the Renault ZB armored car, I have see a photo of such a vehicle armed with a turret 13.2mm Hotchkiss HMG in the Chinese Expeditionnary Force in Burma for example.

Many thanks for the pictures and the link.
I belong to a very large number of military history sites and this is the first I have seen of what I think are very rare pictures of equipment used by Chinese Forces in the Sino-Japanese War.

As a matter of small interest, while I am an American of American parents, I was born in Pekin, as it was called at the time, in March 1940.
My father was then an officer in the USMC and was stationed in China from 1937 to end 1940. I was only six months old when the Americans were moved out of China. Therefore, I speak only three words of Chinese none of which translate well into English, but anyway, Ding Hao and Kumshaw, which are words my father still uses. He was, by the way, very fluent in Chinese and he still lives though at age 91 years he is a bit slow nowadays.

Sadly, I have not been able to get to visit my birthplace in Pekin even though I was able to visit the southern parts of China several times on buying trips when I was in the automobile parts business. Too many Visa problems in the mid 1980's to get all the way up to Beijing.

I hope you can continue to post photos of vehicles used by Chinese Forces on the site as they had some really interesting ones from many countries.

As a by the way, on your first photo, I believe the first vehicle may be an Opel as opposed to a Benz. I have to do a little bit of photo research before I am sure.

@Bill Murray:
Several pictures again!!
Really?That's great!So many Americans took part in the Sino-Japanese war between 1937 and 1945 voluntarily such as the well-known "Flying Tigers".I remember that there is a US military airport once used by the "Flying Tigers" in Xinjin county which is not far from my hometown Pixian county,Chengdu city,Sichuan province.(By the way,Sichuan is one of the most beautiful provinces in China,welcome to pay a visit to this exotic also fantastic area. :D )
Those pictures were found on a Chinese website where there are many Chinese military fans.They post military photos including WWI,WWII and modern wars every day.Maybe you can find some interesting items there.(http://www.sonicchat.com)Because now I am busy with the Chinese National Judicial Examination,it will take me a comparatively long time to post other relative pictures.Sorry! 8O 8O
Yeah,maybe you are right!Because I am not quite familiar with the cars and other armored vehicles used by Wehrmacht and Waffen SS,I only translated the original introduction to those three pictures into English.I only know that during the 1930s China has imported many weapons made in Germany such as Mauser rifles,LeFH-18 howitzers,Pak-35\36 anti-tank gun,PzKpfw I light tanks and Sd.Kfz.221&222 reconnaissance armored vehicles.Hope that you are willing to give me more help on identifying the vehicles in the pictures I post!Thx!Welcome to China again!
Best regards!谢谢欣赏和评论!

Those soldiers all look like they're wearing German style helmets.

Were they German or just a Chinese variation?

Hello,Eden Zhang:in my memory,those helmets were all imported from Germany.Together with other German weapons,under the guide of some German officers in China,they were used to form several German-weapon-equipped divisions.
