German parade in Kavarna (Каварна) (!!??)

Hi George,

I think the photo wasn't shot in Bulgarian town of Kavarna (Каварна), but somewhere in Czech language area (Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia or even Sudetenland), because kavárna means caffé in Czech language. Note the accent on the second letter a in the word kavárna.

Also, you might have noted that all of the signs are in Latin script and none in Cyrillic.

No,this is Ukraine.
The sign on the shop reads "Крамниця Золочівського МСТ", i.e. Shop of Zolochiv MST (don't know what this abbreviation could mean - probably, Local Union of Trade ). So, the town is Zolochiv (or Zolochev in Russian transliteration).
There are two towns with such name in Ukraine - one in Lviv Oblast and second - in Kharkiv Oblast. I think the photo shows the first one, as it was occupied by the Germans on July 2, 1941 (Zolochiv in Kharkiv Oblast - on October 26, 1941), and the weather looks more like summer, than late autumn.
