Do you know the details of an automatic pistol allegedly made in the Independent State of Croatia in year 1944?

My father as Domobranski Narednik (homegurad sargent) told me that while stationed in Zagreb (1943-45) he was armed with automatic pistol with 20 rounds , I have no ideas what brand/model was it.
