Support the site because they really go the extra mile

Postby christian988 on 12 May 2004 03:24

Hi All

I've always been really keen on the sort of history that this site represents, without the usual bias, left or right that seems to be prevelant. Anyway I'm now doing a modern history course on Weimar & the Third Reich and have had loads of silly problems getting started on this site. ANYWAY, instead of getting sick of the problems I kept having constantly Marcus et al, didn't get sick and persevered till I eventually got everything right. There are many sites with huge budgets that are not only lacking the clarity and popularity of this site (the book list is awesome) but dont have the patience and organisational skills the Axis history forum have in abundance. I hope I pass my particular hurdle and can be in position to help the forum because I dont know how the management find the time but I'm very glad.

Wow! Ernst Röhm is just about the most interesting character involved in the Third Reich! Do you have information about Ernst Röhm's immediate family? What were his parents names? how long did they live? did they live to see him assassinated? How many siblings did he have? What were their names? Were other members of the family politically active? Family photos would, of course, be a real historical treasure!
