Hi,

Any information (or hints from where to look for info) about the U 679 would be appreciated.
Starting from it's armament.
I know about the earlier Soviet claim about sub-chaser MO-124 sinking it by depth charges, but it seems to be incorrect according to modern research.

Btw uboat.net have error about U 679 and their arriving in Libau.
Best source for boat is Ultra-Iterceptions (DEFE 3/475-499 and maybe 521-525)

Yes, I had checked that forum, but somehow missed that thread there (maybe because being at the top of that U-Boat section there !)
