Gentlemen,
thank you again for the fine material provided. The Biber surrounded by a sort of tube structure appears in War Machine Enciclopaedia pulled by a german heavy halftrack.
One can assume this structure supported any kind of protective canvas.

Seems to be from Norway. The guy at the right is a Norwegian policeman.

I went back and found the original caption for this photo - seems it was in Norway.

"Molch mini-subs abandonded on the airfield at Forus, Norway, 1945."
