HI,
Above link shows boats in Bergen. The one on the left has no AA armament and has the same curved bottom style to the
wintergarden rail. as above (curved railings) There is a better picture elsewhere on google.

For Pikap

370 arrived at Danzig 25 Oct 44 but 1165 arrived on 25 Nov so the meeting was sometime before Jan 5 when 370 left.

Thanks to all for replies

HI, This GERMAN link points to another boat on the right with the same railings, some websites list it as U 967 and others as U 957.
I think most of these boats so equipped were VIIC/41 so this is possibly U 997 which was attacking the same convoys as U 711 and U 957.
Other pictures of U 957 do not show this type of railing level with the conning tower.
I will look at the other boats Lionfish mentioned earlier-thanks Lionfish.

HI
Thanks for these pictures Lionfish, I could not find any. I had hoped I could limit them to a yard or series but it was not to be.
