What is interesting about this boat and most noticeable is the fact that the railings do not have a middle bar, like the rest of the 551 - 650 series of boats - maybe the shipyard just did not finish them.

I noticed the first photo of Nico's pics shows U 441 and had the same type of railing supports as in the photo I posted on your other thread.

Problem with railings, when snort conversions were started some boats changed or removed their railings. U281 were removed. U278 kept them as they were. Once they decided to install the snort the front hatch had to go that meant lifting most of the deck-so they probably just chopped off the rails as they wished. This don't help ID ing them.
