Hello to all :D; reviewing some images of this type of submersible in particular I found that presents different schemes in the scuppers for free circulation of water in the bow .........

Sources: WWII - WW2 - Photo Sous marin - U-BOAT of Kriegsmarine
Kriegsmarine - Tirpitz, Bismarck, U-Boot, Schnellboot 4

Any idea why the change? TIA. Raul M 8-).

Hello to all :D; speaking of peculiarities ......

by browsing the web I found this photo that, as it was told by the source, belongs to U 27, but looking at the pattern of the scuppers to me it sounds more like a type IA . What do you think?

TIA. Cheers. Rúl M 8-).

Hello to all :D; more about the peculiarity in this type of submersible ............................

Scheme in the scuppers for free circulation of water in the bow in the Type IA (U 26).

This submersible in particular, at least from July 1937, had a new scheme in diagonal.....................

If I looked properly, we have here the U 26 shortly after being launched with the scheme in straight line forward ................
