Re: Type VII
Hi Nobby,
There are to many gaps now in my archive due one of my harddrive crash,i lost at least thousand of pictures/drawings etc etc.
The Type VII-F is approximateley 1,1 meter wider than a VII-C,
enough space to fit these rails on both sides of the boat.
Axel is right, why do i even have my doubts.
U-1061 more pictures.
And this Type VII goes into my U-Who archive.
my best regards,
Ron.

Re: Type VII
Hi Ron,
you better put it into your U 241 file where it belongs. Just a small helper to clean up your hard disk over the weekend.
Cheers

Re: Type VII
HI Think boat above is U 390 Heinz Geissler. Where the wintergarden handrail joins the conning tower body, is a triangle of metal-this occurs on U 385, and on U 387 above. Both boats from Kiel. So believe this is one of same series.

Re: Type VII
Nobby,
you keep us busy, much appreciated!
There is no contradiction about U 235, just note, that Mark made a best guess only.
Your latest puzzle is U 425. I wonder, when you will come up with a nice pic of U 1276 I am already waiting for so long!!
Cheers
