maybe you mean U 441 (U Flak 1) weapon is the same as the land version, a Flak-Vierling, with marine grade lubricant and chrome lined barrels:

Re: flak boat-U 411
Being new here, I posted a request on another thread asking if anyone knew of any plans for U Flak 1. Looking here, I see workable information in the links below, but I need to ask:
-) Does anyone know if the U Flak 1 conning tower was similar to other larger Type VIIC/41/42 conning towers such that i could take a measurement and develop plans for the conning tower?
-) I will repeat my request for plans for the conning tower -- sources that is? My objective is convert one of the Revell 1/72 kits and/or influence a 1/72 card model of same.
Overall, my interest is in maximally armed WW II U-boats with Flak weapons.
Thanks,
Paul

Re: flak boat-U 411
Many thanks for the timely reply. The images are very helpful, only one of which I have seen before. However, the key might just be in the absence of existing drawings to take a known element from these to which dimensions are known, covert that to the size in the photo, use that to convert the entire photo to scale and then increase that to 1/72!
I am amazed that plastic kit and card modelers have ignored this boat type, and also the Type IX in 1/72.
In any event, much appreciated!

Re: Flak boat-U 411
Hi all,
further to this thread:
My interest is U 953, my uncle, Hans Harder was a crew member on this boat and I am trying to find any information I can about my uncle, the boat and his time and experiences on the boat. (just finished reading "The Longest Patrol").
I too have the 1/72 scale model of the VII C class U-Boat.(a recent, much appreciated birthday present).
U 953 was converted to a "Flak-Boat". Was there ever a solution to the question about the anti-aircraft guns?
U 953 was also converted to a "Schnorchel boat". Did anyone ever come up with a solution to fitting one to the model?
Also, would U 953 have been fitted with net cutters either on the hull or deck mounted?
Look forward to any replies.
Regards,
The Duck.
