Is it possible to identify the badges in this Photo? It is somewhere in England, 1945(?). My father is in the middle sitting on the tank (a Centaur).
Thank you.

Re: Cap badges polish army 1945
Those are standard issued Polish eagles, everyone in the Polish Armed Forces in the West had one.
I know almost nothing about it but is it that thing a Cromwell i.e. a slightly better Centaur?
If I'm not mistaken Cromwells were only issued to 10 Pułk Strzelców Konnych, which was a hell of a unit that was fighting in 1939 Poland, 1940 France, 1944 France,Belgium, Netherlands and 1945 Germany.

Hallo, thank you.
Indeed a Centaur is a Cromwell but with a 395 pk Nuffield Liberty engine (my father said he had his tank training in this type of tank, a Centaur).
Is the badge of the soldier in the front, also a standard issued Polish eagle?

Yes, it is. The photo is not that good and his military insignia under the eagle, and the eagle itself confusingly blend together.
Here both are visible a little clearer.
