German - Polish Border

Hi,

I'am currently in Police near Szecin in Poland, I have visited the ruins of the German synthetic petrol plant and bunkers in Police, Poland. Its certainly an eye opener, majority of the building are still in god condition and there are a couple of underground bunkers that can be entered, but the use of a torch is highly recommended! :)
I have a week left and I wanted to also explore several places where the most toughest battles took place between the Germans retreating to Berlin and the Russians on the German/Polish Border.
I'm new to this site so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance
