Polish artillery paint schemes, pre-1939.
Hello. I'm attempting to paint a wz.97/17 gun with crew. Uniforms no problem. What color for the gun, and for a wooden box holding some of the 7.5cm ammunition? I'm thinking a dull green like "salamander" for the gun. Would Polish army boxes have a uniform color? The gun, would it have any markings? All advice appreciated. This is a gift for an old gentleman whose father fought in 1939, so I must be as accurate as possible.
