General Government Polish police, any weapons ?

Hello,

was the Polish police armed with revolvers or issued any rifles ?

According to the polish Wikipedia, yes, they did had pistols or rifles, with a limited amount of ammo. As everyday "weapon" they had truncheons (to hit uwilling people with - sorry english is my third language). White weapons, alike sabres or bayonettes, werent not used (the pre-war police could have them).

The common name for that police formation they are known as is Granatowa Policja, from their bluish uniforms.
Thus, if you google, seek on granatowa policja.
