Hello, thank you for your information.
According to the source, the gun was used by French in Indochina and was taken by Vietminh in 1945. Could it be a coastal artilley purchased from USA by French? I have taken a look in here but found no mention about US made coastal gun: http://www.fortiff.be/iff/index.php?page=i14

Hello Chiangshan ,
Interesting of the background of USN 3 - in , notice the veritical breech wedge . The French
CD in Indo - China used :
- 75 mm mle 1897 sur affut 1916 L 36 length with Nordenfelt eccentric screw , crinoline carriage
- 75 mm mle 1908 sur affut 1908 - 18 L 62 length with Canet concentric screw
- 90 mm mle 11877 sur affut 1916 ,L 23 length with Bange screw , croineline screw

The above picture was taken at Pointe Saint-Mathieu in the French Brittany region. The monument is the national memorial for the sailors who lost their lives for France and still stand todays. The two guns are also still in position, one having lost its shield.
