Nobody for my last image ??
Well, here another image from delcampe.net.
I think an 155mm Mle 1877-14 gun but I am not sure. The wheels seems of the 155mm Mle 1917 gun ??
Is this an image taken in WW1 or during interwar years??
Thanks in advance. Sturm78

Re: Help to Id french gun
Sturm78,
This is definitely a 155mm L Mle 1877-14.
But I don't know if the modification of the wheels was done before or after November 1918. I am sure that Guy Francois will have the answer ( I hope he'll read this thread).

Re: Help to Id french gun
Sturm78,
Guy François provided a response for the same picture posted a while ago on a French forum.
I summarize his response: “it is one of the various “canons d’accompagnement” [= support/infantry guns] of 75 mm developed by St-Chamond in the 1920’s. In 1925, St-Chamond was acquired by Schneider who continued manufacturing St-Chamond’s guns for a while. It is possible that the gun in the picture was designed for the Polish Army.”
Hopefully, Guy François can provide more information.

Thank you for your answer, Emmanuel.
Here, another image from http://www.delcampe.net.
I think it is a Schneider Mle 1917 howitzer upgraded with a longer barrel, a rare muzzle break, equilibrators and in 149mm !!
Was this Schneider design intended for France Army or export markets?
Any aditional information about this howitzer will be wellcome

Nobody for my last images ??
Well, here a interesting image from the net (I do not remember the exact source)
It is a 220mm Schneider Mle 1916 howitzer upgraded with pneumatic tyres and solid metal wheels.
Is this only a Schneider prototype or the French Army ordered an upgraded of all his howitzers of this model ??

Well, one more try looking for information.
Here an image from decampe.net.
I suppose a prototype of 75mm field gun from St. Chamond in 1920s or 30s.
Does somebody have any information about this gun?
Thanks in advance. Sturm78

Re: Help to Id french gun
For Sturm78 re your Nov 3 2013 12:49PM post of picture of French naval Turrets:
I believe the turrets in front are medium calibre gun turrets, probably 203mm/55 M1931
for heavy cruiser ALGERIE. The single barrel mounts in back are 138.6mm/50 M1929 for LA FANTASQUE
class contre-torpilleurs. Both these classes of ships were authorized in 1930 and completed 1933-34, so
picture is from early 1930s.

Thank you very much for your answer, Jack.
I am not a expert in naval armament, so it's very hard for me to say if you're right or not.
