not sure, but on the left the man of the 19th Field Artillery Regiment seems to have a post-WWI uniform
and the others belong to the 55th Field Artillery Regiment disbanded in 1923
perhaps in some Artillery Park in the Midi/XVth Military Region because both regiments were not equiped with a such gun during WWI...

Hi Sturm

Looks like the 105mm Howitzer that was sold to Greece as their 105mm Howitzer M1927.

Thank you, Clive.

Probably you are right but I think 105mm M1927 was a gun, not a howitzer

Hello

I'm just wondering if anybody has information on the artillery piece shown in this post http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 5#p1631266

Image

The caption with the Photo is:-
1940 - Annamite troops...marching back to their garrison at Haiphong after being ordered not to resist the Japanese invasion..
Any help appreciated

It appears to me from the shape of the shield and folded trail to be a "75 MM de Montagne modèle 1919 Schneider"

Hello ROLAND1369

Thanks for the reply. I thought it might be, but artillery is not my strength. And there are many people with good knowledge here on the forum.

Cheers
