Yes it is Maginot Line; if you are of the belief that all French the border fortifications were part of the Maginot Line. I am guessing that this casemate was somewhere in the Maubeuge region.

Hi all,

Another image from EBay. As usual, I am not sure if this bunker is from Maginot Line or no.
What is the purpose of the metal object on the right wall?

The metal box on the right contains a searchlight. It could be opened and operated from the interior by cables.

I am guessing that the top photo is of a Séré de Rivières fort, perhaps near Toul, (hence the arrow and 'Toul' on painted on the artillery turret), but I am guessing about location. The bottom photo is of a third line Maginot Line casemate somewhere along the Rhine River. I am away from my reference material at the moment, otherwise, I would be able to better identify it.

Marc

I believe that turret is the one at Fort Douaumont, which would mean it has two 75mm guns.

Marc
