I am trying to research the French withdraw order to North-Africa on 17th June. Were the aircraft pulled out by squadrons or was it a general order and the individual aircraft did their best to get there.
My only source is Kirkland but I have read here that the web article was not well researched.
Is there a list of the aircraft that made it to North Africa? Was Corsica used as a transit point?

IIRC Corsica was indeed sued as a transit point for those aircraft that required it. A member here, Carl Schwamberger, did some work on this some years ago...
Twenty years ago we had Johnny Cash, Bob Hope and Steve Jobs. Now we have no Cash, no Hope and no Jobs....

Loir - Do you have a breakdown or reference of the aircraft and squadrons sent over to North Africa?
