Does anyone have any info on what types of citations Karel Hora received for his various Croix de Guerre? He was a Czech in the FFL during WWII on through Algeria in the 50's I beleive.

He was reserve officer of Czechoslovak Army. Hora volunteered for Legion after occupation of Czechoslovakia. In 1940 lots two fingers and part of hand when trying rescue his commander. After France armistice he escaped from hospitat to Spain where he was imprisoned for suspicion he fought for Republicans. In 1943 he finally reach England where he tried to join Czechoslovak Army in Exile however because of his hand injury was refused as invalid. He managed to join Free French as Junior Lieutenant. He fought in Algeria, latere was trained in Britain and in August 1944 was para doped to France with partisans. After rejoining with allied forces he continued with French Army to Germany.
After war returned to Czechoslovakia, studiet at French Ecole militaire and reached Czechoslovak rank of Staff Captain. After communist take over he sent his French wife to Paris and soon followed where he rejoin Legion. He served in Indochina and volunteered in 1952 for service in Korea. He returned in 1954 and served in Algeria between years 1954 and 1961. He reached rank of Major in Legion. Disappointed by results of Algeria campaign in 1961 he left Legion for good. He was probably involved with OAS after that and had for some time trouble to find steady job due to his political activities.
