Hello!

Does anyone know if a Jewish doctor under a name sounding similar to "Markowicz" was interned or working in Drancy around 1944?

Thank you,
Simone

MARKOWICZ Abram , born July 18, 1887 in Piotrkow in Poland, naturalized French. He resided in Lorient, then took refuge in Vannes. Caught in the raid on 4 and 5 January 1944 in Bretagne.
Left Drancy on February 10, 1944; arrived at Auschwitz, February 13.

GregSingh,

Thank you for this information! :) However, do you know if he worked as a doctor whilst in Drancy?
