Bidal and Piat military outfitters

I'm trying to find information about a military supply company in France called Bidal and Piat.

The company made saddles for Napoleon's Generals, supplied uniforms, and even manufactured Marshal Petain's Epaulettes. And then they seem to have disappeared. Does anyone have any information about the company? Does it still exist?

It's amazing the lack of information (at least in English) on this company.

I'm curious about the background of the founders.

Nothing much except that I think that street address is the right place. If you look in the reflection on the windows of the shop you'll see the "Royal Palace" across the street still has that same facade except it is now "La Clef Louvre". It is likely that new owners (of Bidel and Piat) remodeled the store entirely and nothing remains of the old business.
