Candidates for French DIM

French Army had seven motorized infantry divisions in 1940 : 1, 3,5,9,12,15 and 25 DIM. Why are they was chosen as DIM, any special condition for them ? wartime experience in WWI or other, anyone have some information to share ?

On the other hand, some good divisions like 11 and 14e DI were not redesignated as DIM ?
