Hey guys,
Can you help me find the American unit that occupied a small town called Engelskirchen in Germany (Just about 40 km East of Cologne), the 12th of April, 1945? ANY info on this small town would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,
Harrison

Harrison,

An entry from "Special Studies, Chronology, 1941-1945" by Mary H Williams, page 489 for 12 April 1945 says:
78th Div column pushes into woods near Engelskirchen on left
"Air superiority is a condition for all operations, at sea, in land, and in the air." - Air Marshal Arthur Tedder.
