A naval Warhawk?

I found these rare and amazing photos showing Curtiss P-40 Warhawk on the deck or operating on aircraft carriers. There was a naval version of this fighter? To see the photos, visit the link below:

I don't think any were equipped with tailhooks but some were transported and launched from carriers. The USS Ranger delivered P-40 to North Africa by launching them after crossing the Atlantic.
