Hello, sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot. Sort of a specific request on the off chance someone knows anything.
I'm looking for rosters for the 602nd Tank Battalion, specifically Company B. But if you have A or C id like those as well.
Thanks

There was a 602d Tank Company, but 602d Tank Battalion? Unless I'm being forgetful again.nrobertson wrote:Hello, sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot. Sort of a specific request on the off chance someone knows anything.

Sorry, but that's why I asked. You are asking actually about the 602d Tank Destroyer Battalion, not the 602d Tank Battalion. They are two very different things.nrobertson wrote:Indeed there was, any point in the right direction would be much appreciated.

You are unlikely to find a "roster" of members other than in a postwar history. Wartime rosters were maintained as the company/battery/troop morning report. Those are held by the St Louis National Personnel Records Center on microfilm and can be difficult to access.
As far as history of the 602d TD Battalion goes, see: http://www.tankdestroyer.net/units/batt ... -battalion

Morning reports. One of my least favorite items to research/read.
