This is a British SLC radar receiver used early in the war. Some sets and a manual were captured at Singapore and fom the data the Japanese Army developed their Mark 4 Mod 3 radar from these. the pic shows the Receiver, there is a separate transmitter.

Thanks, Roland. Do you know which is the searchlight model ?? I think an 150cm model... and the model of radar ?? Mark ??
Was this radar used only in combination with this searchlight ??

Any idea about the predictors of my earlier posts ??

It looks like a 150 cm however it was also mounted on the 90 cm also. It was generally called just SLC in most publications I have seen. Its official nomenclature was "SLC AA NO 2 MARK 1 OR 2". I cannot distinguish between the two marks. I have very little on the AA predictors and cannot help on those.

Re your director picture with the women operators I believe it to be a Vickers PREDICTOR NO 1 MARK III belonging to a 3.7 inch AA battery.

In this case a;most certainly being used by AA. However, I believe it was a fairly general purpose gene.

Hi Sturm

I cannot recall the name of the camera but it was for tracking and photographing the shots of the guns.

Assuming the guy is of average height I would say that is a Tallboy.

Wiki lists the length at 21 ft, as opposed to 26-1/2 for the Grand Slam

The bomb's length appears to be a bit more than 3x the guy's height
