Valentine 6 Pdr first Action

As far as I know a few Valentine IX's (?) did take part in the crossing of the Wadi Zigzaou on 20th March 43 with 50 RTR. Most, if not all, were destroyed.
But, did they were the first Valentines armed with 6 pdr gun commited to the theater? And If so, how many arrived and when did they arrive to Egypt (?).

Were more 6 pdr armed Valentines sent to North Africa?
