No exact dates, but 6-pdr APDS was available on June 6th AFAIK and used all through the campaign. I've seen accounts of its use during Epsom (late June, early July 1944). Small amounts were also issued to US Forces, who used it from August 1944, if not earlier.

17-pdr APDS production started in June 1944, so if any rounds made it to the continent in time for Normandy, it cannot have been very many.

I don't know any production figures for 6-pdr APDS, but only 35.000 17-pdr APDS were made in 1944 starting in June 1944. Basically the same story as with the US 3" and 76mm HVAP, which were also extremely rare, production of the former starting in August 1944 and the latter in July 1944, first use being for testing against captured German tanks in August 1944.
