Does anyone have any figures for the strength of the British Army around the date Operation Sealion was due to take place.

I have read that the British had 2 Armoured divisions, 5 Armoured brigades and 27 motorised infantry divisions by this time, as well as countless Home Guard units.

Are these figures correct?
and if so, how well equipped were they ?? :?

Thanks :)
