Can anyone tell me who MG Paul, Executed in 1946 is ? I have nothing on him. Paul is not a common German last name, and the only Paul I know of was an Oberst.

Hello, I found the elusive Paul. We had him listed as Pavel.

Is it known when exactly and where Johann-Joachim Stever died?
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.

Georg Wiesinger...my grandfather.
Captured 5-10-1945 in Slovakia.
Sent to camp 147.
Died 6-8-1946.
Cause of death...dystrophy 3rd degree. Worked and starved to death.

There were 2,3 million axis caught by the soviets alive at the eastern-front, about 10 % were decalred death and about 33 % were decalred as missed ( but we can guess, no one will juste appear after all the time alive)
The source are from 600.000 death pows to 1.100.000 pows.
Lets pray for the souls of those ones without even a grave.
I´ll give you a list with just the officers of "Heeresgruppe Mitte" on it, who clearly died in bolshevik camps,
but I´not sure, if anyone could ever complete it.
