German POWs in Russia

#1

Post by roses » 26 May 2014, 19:58

I have spent a number of years researching and writing a novel about a German family in Poland during and after WW2. I am coming near the end of this project, but I want to make sure the scenes in my book seem authentic, as the novel is historical and based on real life events.

I am looking for someone who would be willing to look over a few chapters that involve prisoners of war in Russia. I found a few eyewitness accounts (ie: Roman Stocklein etc.), but there is not much in English and my German is not good enough.

If you would kindly message me with a short "resume" of your expertise and if you'd be willing to do this, I would be grateful! I can't pay anything, but I would be happy to provide you with a digital copy of the book once it comes out.

I am in something of a hurry for this, so first person to reply, gets the job! I have posted this on a few different forums as there are several aspects of my book, but if you check all my threads and can help with other subjects, that would be great.
