Almost on the spot, but not exactly. Notice that the side car is on the other side of the motorbike in the original pic....
Btw, where have you found this drawing?

Sokół 1000 M 121 and Polish Army? At least I've seen the M 121 referred to as a trike with driven sidecar which description sort of matches the quiz oddity.

Re: The official AHF Allied & Neutral Armies quiz thread
Totally stumped I am.
However, just a thought, Ireland, Portugal, Switzerland, Panama, Argentina, NEI, Sweden and China are several countries that drove on the left up to or close to the beginning of WWII/1939-45 War.
We have the country of origin, the maker and close to the model and all that I can think of now is the uniform and I have no references on that subject. Might help someone though.

Hello !
It is a Polish motor bike and the rider is from the Polish Army too.
It is an experimental model from Sokol for the Polish Army. Which one?

Re: The official AHF Allied & Neutral Armies quiz thread
iffig.....................
I must admit I am a bit confused as to the status of Poland with regard to whether it is to be considered an Ally or a conquered country for purposes of this part of the Forum.
If I read history correctly, when Poland was invaded, there was no such thing as "Allied & Axis".
Poland was nominally independent and was invaded and that triggered the European part of WWII and the eventual terminology "Allied & Axis". The term "Neutral" also came into play at that time.
This posting assumes, of course, that the moto in question was used by Polish forces and was not built for export but even then I have a problem with the terminology. I did not include in my research use of the moto by Polish forces for the reasons stated above and maybe missed the whole point.
That Poland became an "Ally" is of course a matter of history starting with the "Government in Exile" and proceeding through the rest of the war with Polish forces, mostly combined with UK and US forces making a great name for themselves in prosecuting the war on the Allied side.
Sorry to be so pedantic, but I have maybe 4 hours invested in this question and I think I was going at it entirely the wrong way. I can be wrong, I often am, but I just have never put Poland prewar or during the Polish campaign into the Allied & Neutral camp. More in the victim camp.

Bravo Juha!!!!!!!!!
Even to the same registration number...........
And so.......... is it Allied and Neutral or Interwar????????????
I am feeling pissy tonight, we have the debt ceiling crisis hanging over our head in my country and I am grieving over the disaster in Norway. I spent a lot of time in Norway in the 1970s and I truly love the people there. So sad.

Re: The official AHF Allied & Neutral Armies quiz thread
Congratulations to Juha! Next question for him and thanks for the pics!
Poland was an Allied country even before WW II: it is because of treatises of assistance with Poland that France declared war to Germany in September 1939, after the German agression against Poland. After their were defeated in 1939, the Poles fought in France with the French Army in 1940, then a Polish Army was organised in the UK: they fought in the Middle-East, in Italy, in Normandy and in the Netherlands.
An other Army was organised in the UdSSR and fought on the Eastern Front. So, certainly an Allied Country!
The only point is that the Sokol/CWS 600 typ T was not in use in the 1939 campaign (it was not usable, anyway ....).

Re: The official AHF Allied & Neutral Armies quiz thread
It seems that "Type T" simply means "Trzyosiowy" ("Three-axial")
