hi,

As we have to accept that Dreeze has left us forever, I would like to invite a volunteer to step in and pose the next question.

(I'm not doing so myself as I will be off for some days and unable to acknowledge a correct answer)

Thanks, pb. The combination of British radar and two funnels threw me off at first, but then I thought of the Dutch.

So, what ship is this?

hi, Rob,

I think that that's a British sloop from the 30's, but which one ?

I had thought of HMS ENCHANTRESS, but that's wrong, the pictures don't match.

Yes, HMIS Indus it is. The picture is from the IWM: http://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/205119259. It is claimed to have been taken on 6 April 1942 which is the very day that Indus was sunk by IJN bombers.

Back to you, pb.
